Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium hardwood mouldings and architectural carvings.
What is the typical lead time for custom hardwood orders?
Standard in-stock items typically ship within 2-3 business days. For custom profiles or specialized wood species, lead times generally range from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity of the project.
Do you offer international shipping for your architectural products?
Yes, White River Hardwoods ships globally. International shipping rates and duties are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the timber and the destination country.
Can I request a specific wood species for my mouldings?
Absolutely. While we maintain a large inventory of Poplar and Cherry, we can manufacture our profiles in almost any sustainable hardwood species, including Walnut, Mahogany, and Red Oak upon request.
What is your return policy for architectural carvings?
Standard, unaltered items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Please note that custom-cut lengths and bespoke commissioned carvings are non-refundable.
Are your products shipped pre-finished or unfinished?
To allow for perfect color matching on-site, most of our hardwoods are shipped unfinished and sanded to a high grit, ready for your choice of stain, paint, or clear coat.
How do you ensure the quality and sustainability of your wood?
We source our timber from NHLA certified suppliers who practice sustainable forest management. Each piece is kiln-dried to specific moisture levels to prevent warping and ensure long-term structural integrity.
